This is my Parting Tool

This is the Parting Tool I use in all my YouTube videos, which I am constantly being asked for. Originally made for my personal use, because there is no other Parting Tools that works the way this one does. These are made from brand new TCT Circular Saw blades. They are cut by plasma cutter. All writing that is originally on the saw blades has been cleaned off. The blade is 4 1/2 inches after being fitted into my 9 inch solid Beech handle. As saw blades come with an angle on the tip, the tip has been re-sharpened to give a square edge. The tips are 1mm wider than the blade, which eliminates binding when using the parting tool. The blade is 2.2mm thick. Tips are not replaceable but can be touched up with a Diamond Card file. I have been using mine for many years and have not had to sharpen it yet. These tools are hand made and will have tooling marks where the blades have been cut and cleaned.
