       This is my GT no 1 Box Hollower Chisel 9mm Round cutter.

This chisel is designed for the hollowing of small boxes and pots, and projects that a 12mm cutter is just to big for. This chisel is fitted with a standard type 9mm round carbide cutter on a 10mm square bar tapered at the end to give the clearence needed for hollowing small pieces. This is not a chisel to be used for hollowing or roughing out bowls, it would be more than capable of it but not at all the intended use. For the hollowing and shaping of small projects it is fantastic, the 9mm cutter allows you to get right in to the bottom of a small box or pot and leave a nice clean finish. This chisel is made to the same standard and size as my other chisels and will compliment any set or chisels already owned. Handles are 14" solid beech and a short handle version is also available with a 9" handle.
