| Standard type 15mm Square Carbide Chisel This is my standard type 15mm square carbide chisel, excellent for the larger pieces and capable of removing a lot of wood very quickly. The 15mm cutter is fitted on a 9 inch 12mm bright steel bar and a 14 inch hard wood beech or Idigbo handle depending on stock, making this a more heavy duty chisel then the standard type 14mm square. Having my standard type cutter fitted with its flat profile means this chisel can be used with the bar held flat on the tool rest and simple plunge cuts made with hardly any catches, i'm not saying you will never get a catch just that this is a very easy chisel to use and I have yet to get a catch myself. This is a excellent chisel giving nice clean cuts in any type of wood i've tried and the cutter holds a razor sharp edge for a long time.
